Joe Maneely at War 1951-1957

As promised with my last post, here are a slew of Joe Maneely stories. These appeared in the Atlas (Marvel) title War Comics from 1951 through 1957. Maneely was a prolific artist, which is surprising considering the level of detail and craft he put into every story. Each time I view his work, I am in awe of his ink line. It's such a thing of beauty. It's as if his work was chiseled out of stone. It's flawless drawing. Enjoy these visual delights.

(Please note that some of these comics may depict Asian people in a less than respectful manner. It was wrong at the time and it's wrong now. It can be uncomfortable, I know. I certainly don't want to offend anyone, but I don't want to censor the past either. Hugs?)
