I haven't posted anything for a bit, and I don't have anything prepared at the moment so I thought I'd throw up a couple of early Grant Morrison British science fiction comics. Morrison wrote 8 issues of Starblazer, a British science fiction digest sized comic book, from 1979 through 1988. The first issue posted below, issue 15, was his first contribution to the comic. The unique aspect of this particular story is that he wrote AND drew it, the only one he provided art for. He was young and his art reflects the type of amateur style that was prevalent at the time. It almost has an early Mike Zeck feel. Maybe Mike Zeck at Charlton in the early 70's, but a bit cruder. The second story posted was his fourth for the comic, issue 86, with art by Jamie Ortiz.
(As you can tell from the scans, these were originally uploaded by others. I'm not a member of the forums posted on the scans and have no connection to that site in any way shape or form. Thank you to whoever uploaded these comics to the 'net)
