I'm sure most of you seasoned comic book nerds are aware of Wally Wood's self-published color comic Heroes, Inc. from 1969. It's a fairly common comic these days and was the first appearance of Wood's character, Cannon. Here Cannon is written and inked by Wood and penciled by Steve Ditko. Cannon was later serialized in the U.S. Army's Overseas Weekly starting in 1971.
A second issue was published in 1976 by CPL Gang Associates, which also published the fanzine Charlton Bullseye in the mid-70s. This issue was magazine-sized and B&W. It carried over the strips Cannon by Wood and Ditko as well as The Misfits by Wood that also appeared in the first issue. The only non-Wood strip is by Mike Vosburg and Roger Stern with a couple of illustrations by John Byrne.
